Jake Rye

Jake was a songwriter and bassist before he became a record producer and mixer which means he knows exactly what it feels like to hand over songs you wrote and hope somebody treats them right.

It also means he listens to your song from a songwriter's perspective. He'll notice if the pre-chorus is doing the chorus's job, or if you've buried the best lyric under a wall of noodling guitars.

But… just because he'll point it out doesn't mean he'll impose his decisions onto your art. He'll show you what each version actually sounds like so you can choose, because you're the one who has to play these songs for the next ten years and stand behind every choice.
